THE HUMANOID OF THE ROSWELL SLIDES by Jose Antonio Caravaca

Posted on 9:52 AM by jackline
After talking with some researchers who have seen the slides, we can try to reconstruct the possible semblance of humanoid that shown in the pictures ... Although our drawing probably is not exact, the readers can imagine the general details of the humanoid face and, most importantly, they can know the facial features that will not find ...

The Slides show a humanoid about 3 feet long, somewhat elongated head with a large cranium and a small, underdeveloped mandible, with a face that was relatively human-looking.  The nose short, but within the range of "normal" human proportions.  The eyes were round--maybe slightly almond shaped--but also well within the range of "normal" human proportions.  They were not at all "insectoid" looking.  The ears also located about where they would be on a normal human head--about half way from the chin to the crown of the head.  The mouth had thin lips (human-like--finer and flatter). The mouth is open and no teeth are visible The skin as being chestnut brown. The skin of the humanoid is smooth and appears to have shrunk taut against the bones (ribs, legs, arms, cranium). Whether this is due to natural effects of death (saponification, dessication, etc.) or is the result of some post-mortem treatment (embalming, freezing, etc.) is not clear. The head appears to have been severed from the top of the spinal column and then replaced, lying at an unnatural angle relative to the torso.

Example(s) of how loony UFO devotees have become -- from Kevin Randle's blog 1/9/15

Posted on 1:11 AM by jackline
 Paul Young said...
You know, after spending the last few months reading this blog from the beginning. I'm fascinated by the knowledge of the UFO subject from both the ETH's (of which I tend to side with) and the sceptics who post here. I'm no researcher, simply an avid reader of the subject over the last few decades, but from what I can gather, the best explanation for why the disc/s crashed in the Roswell incident, is pilot error.

As mentioned by Starman, these beings certainly don't seem to be invincible. I mentioned earlier that if they are biological beings, which would seem to be the case, they probably can have an "off" day, same as us. Maybe they get tired, get hayfever...get "dear John" postcards from the missus.

KR jokingly mentioned above that "someone might have pressed the wrong button". That's not an outlandish theory to me. In one of the books in my vast collection...about 20 paperbacks :-( ... I remember reading an interesting point being made by the author (was it you Kevin?...might be Tim Good) that in some reported cases, the ufo's act like they are being piloted by juvenile delinquents secretly taking daddys car out for a drive. In the JAL case mentioned by Larry above, this UFO the size of two Nimitz class carriers was practically showing off!
Some reports suggest that UFO's could be accused of playing "chicken" with our pilots. Playfully buzzing them.

It's quite feasible to me that some, off colour, or cocky alien pilot could have made a "pigs ear" of it.

Based on a lot of reports of UFO aerial behavior it seems clear that a lot of their pilots are "hotdogs" in the cockpit.

UFO Articles (not by the RRRGroup particularly)

Freelancer Helen Gainsborough provided a UFO piece that I've placed online at our UFO Alliance blog [ufoa.blogspot.com], where we will be adding UFO offerings for those who don't have a site or blog of their own, or want access to our readers.

Those damnable Kodak slides!

Posted on 12:08 PM by jackline
Our colleague and friend, Spanish UFO researcher Jose Caravaca, has been told by a reliable source that Tom Carey plans a January 25th, 2015 news conference about the alleged Roswell-oriented Kodak (alien) slides.

Those damn slides almost cost me my friendship with Anthony Bragalia and enmity from ufologists who became obsessed with the things to the point of insanity.

That Roswell and the slides remain the dominate UFO topic can be exampled by a look at Kevin Randle's blog where a few ufological hooples are going over, again, the Roswell scenario, regurgitating the Roswell bromides that more sensible UFO devotees have long ago shuttered.

Yes, a news conference by Mr. Carey will provoke interest in Roswell and UFOs again, even if the slides do not prove anything.

Roswell and a possible alien (extraterrestrial) flying disk crash are so embedded in the American psyche, of ufologists and normal people, that the news media will grab the information Mr. Carey provides and run with it, pro and con.

Stand by.....it will be over by February 1st (or so we hope).

Astronomer Clyde Tombaugh -- unedited

Posted on 5:47 PM by jackline
This was an early Wikipedia article on noted astronomer Clyde Tom-baugh and his observations of UFOs:

Tombaugh and UFOs: Clyde Tombaugh was probably the preeminent astronomer to have reported seeing a flying object whose nature is unknown; especially those considered to have extra- terrestrial origins. On August 20, 1949, Tombaugh saw several UFOs near Las Cruces, New Mexico. He described them as six to eight rectangular lights, stating "I doubt that the phenomenon was any terrestrial reflection, because... nothing of the kind has ever appeared before or since... I was so unprepared for such a strange sight that I was really petrified with astonishment."

Tombaugh was also later to report having seen three of the mysterious Green Fireballs, which suddenly appeared over New Mexico in late 1948 and continued at least through the early 1950s. In 1956 Tombaugh had the following to say about his various sightings:

"I have seen three objects in the last seven years which defied any explanation of known phenomenon, such as Venus, atmospheric optic, meteors or planes. I am a professional, highly skilled, professional astronomer. In addition I have seen three green fireballs which were unusual in behavior from normal green fireballs...I think that several reputable scientists are being unscientific in refusing to entertain the possibility of extraterrestrial origin and nature."

In 1949, Tombaugh had also told the Naval missile director at White Sands Missile Range, Commander Robert McLaughlin, that he had seen a bright flash on Mars in August 1941, which he now attributed to an atomic blast (mentioned May 12, 1949, in a letter from McLaughlin to Dr. James van Allen). Tombaugh also noted that the first atomic bomb tested in New Mexico would have lit up the dark side of the Earth like a neon sign and that Mars was coincidentally quite close at the time, the implication apparently being that the atomic test would have been visible from Mars.

This is the present, less invigorated, Wikipedia profile of Clyde Tombaugh:

Paul Kimball on Frank Scully and his book Behind the Flying Saucers [2005]

Posted on 10:53 AM by jackline
An eye-opener for me was Paul Kimball's insightful take on Frank Scully and his notorious book, Behind the Flying Saucers, at Paul's blog, The Other Side of Truth in 2005:

http://redstarfilms.blogspot.com/2005/03/being-frank-about-frank-scully-that-is.html
(I found Scully's rebound book in my high school library, and it was a thrill to read, and became my first oral book report in the ninth grade. Paul's observations clarify the man and book.)

The Fantastic Albert Robida and Pierre Giffard and their prescient UFO creations

Posted on 3:15 PM by jackline
Pierre Giffard published La Guerre Infernale, a serialized magazine in France at the turn of the 20th Century.

It was a sensation, enhanced by Albert Robida's drawings.

You will find more Albert Robida at:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albert_Robida

And more about the magazine and both men at:

http://www.merveilleuxscientifique.fr/auteurs/robida-alfred-la-guerre-infernale/

Copies of the magazine are signified at http://digital.library.villanova.edu/Collection/vudl:292001

Here are Monseur Robida's flying saucer drawings from 1908:

Some UFO devotees see the drawings and accounts in La Guerre Infernale as the inspiration for Nazi Germany's foray into flying saucer design.

(The Infernal War was a war between France (Europe) and Germany in the fictional stories.)
